As if bribery, duplicity and bogus accounting weren’t enough there’s this on page 1020 of the Senate’s Health Care Bill: “It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment or conference report that will repeal or otherwise change this subsection”.
With breathtaking arrogance Harry Reid and company have spoken (apparently for all time).
This legislation is meant to be “will of the people” proof.
The implication is enough to rekindle the revolutionary spark in the hearts of most Americans.
That the Democratic majority in the Senate has brazenly defied the will and wishes of the vast majority of Americans is merely where outrage begins.
The most flagrant affront, to a still free people, is to suggest that a congress, soon to be replaced, can write law that can’t be reformed or repealed as the people, through their representatives, see fit.
It would appear that liberals are not to be trusted with our liberties.
The conversation then, for those still paying attention, is not about health care but the health of our republic.
In 2010 remember page 1020.
